I am currently a Senior Data Engineer at Blue.cloud and a Fractional CTO at AISafety.com, both roles based in İstanbul and carried out remotely since November 2021. At Blue.cloud, I consult on data-centric digital transformation projects for large-scale corporations, utilizing state-of-the-art tools, methods, and architectures. Simultaneously, at AISafety.com, I am responsible for building the infrastructure that supports research and application of ML models to optimize business processes, ensuring that the use of ML benefits humanity. My independent consulting career, which began in June 2015, involves creating end-to-end data-centric solutions and collaborating with global teams to build stable and manageable data and ML architectures. I have worked with various companies such as Business Science Associates, Cognius.AI, Wisdom Labs, SnapEx, and Nimbus Therapeutics, on projects ranging from fully automated BI systems to Cloud migrations and financial analytics. Previously, I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Massive Bio, developing and optimizing NLP applications to find suitable cancer treatments, and as a Cloud Data Engineer at Commencis, where I helped clients plan and implement Cloud-centric data solutions. I hold a B.S. in Molecular Biology and Genetics and Physics, and an M.S. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Boğaziçi University, where I completed a bioinformatics thesis on epilepsy genomic data analysis using Python and advanced ML methods.
