As a Senior Leader with over a decade of experience in the secondary education sector, I have developed a strong track record in educational leadership, communication, and teaching. My current role as an Assistant Principal at Burntwood School involves a variety of responsibilities, including working with the Ofsted BAME Leadership Initiative, managing the daily operations of the school, and supporting disadvantaged students through Pupil Premium funding. I also lead whole school data analysis, develop targeted intervention programs based on academic research, and create post-COVID recovery strategies. My focus on promoting staff development through professional workshops and ensuring high teaching standards is complemented by overseeing performance appraisals and enhancing the school's marketing strategies. Before my current position, I served as Assistant Headteacher at Barnhill Community High School, where I coordinated daily operations, ensured pupil discipline, and drove policy development. My role involved creating curriculum materials for KS3 level teaching and promoting the school through website development and marketing strategies. Previously, as Head of Year at Villiers High School, I managed Form Tutors, led curriculum and extra-curricular programs, and acted as Interim Head of Geography. My early career included teaching Geography and Humanities at Lampton School and Villiers High School, where I consistently achieved learning targets and promoted active student participation. My educational background includes a PGCE in Secondary Education from UCL Institute of Education and a BA in Geography and Economics from the University of Westminster.Tech Stack
