We are looking for an experienced Senior ML Researcher for a US-based startup with a global footprint. In this role, you will drive the development of novel representation learning techniques to enable language models to understand and reason about high-dimensional measurements. You will play a key role in shaping the future of AI-powered scientific discovery.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in ML research, with expertise in representation learning, multimodal AI, or language model grounding

High proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)

Solid background in self-supervised learning, embedding techniques, and cross-modal alignment

Experience working with physical or scientific datasets (e.g., time-series, grids, point clouds)

Familiarity with evaluating factual accuracy and mitigating hallucinations in AI systems

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities

Design and implement representation learning pipelines to convert complex physical data into interpretable latent spaces for language models

Develop training methods to align domain-specific data representations with natural language understanding

Build robust grounding techniques to ensure AI outputs remain accurate and fact-based when reasoning about measurements

Create evaluation frameworks for assessing representation quality, reasoning accuracy, and scientific validity

Collaborate with domain experts to ensure models capture essential real-world semantics

Contribute to the technical vision of bridging AI with scientific and industrial data
