You will contribute to the development of Microsoft 365 extensions that deliver seamless, real-time, low-latency functionality inside Word, Outlook, and related applications.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with an interest in building Office-based plugin experiences to join a growing technology scale-up specializing in document automation and workflow digitization. The company builds advanced platforms used by enterprise legal teams and corporate organizations to draft, negotiate, and manage complex documentation efficiently and securely.
Requirements

5+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript in production environments

Solid frontend experience with modern frameworks like React or Vue.js

Experience with Office Add-ins (Office.js) and Microsoft Graph is a plus

Experience building web applications with APIs, OAuth2 flows and secure authentication

Strong skills in debugging, optimizing UI performance, and solving complex technical challenges

Familiarity with cloud platforms, AI/ML services (e.g., Azure, OpenAI), and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright)

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for plugin deployment

Understanding of accessibility, UX principles, and UI performance optimization

Background in SaaS, workflow, or document automation products is a bonus
Responsibilities

Develop and enhance Office extensions that improve productivity and integrate seamlessly with Microsoft 365 apps.

Collaborate with AI teams to incorporate smart suggestions, content generation, and automation features.

Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that performs reliably in enterprise-grade environments.

Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve performance across plugin and UI layers to ensure smooth user experiences.

Work closely with cross-functional teams: product, design, AI, and backend, to deliver high-quality features on time.

Participate in technical planning, review architectural decisions, and provide guidance on engineering standards.

Implement and maintain best practices for testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment of Office Add-ins.

Experiment with new technologies and evaluate their potential to enhance user workflows or efficiency.
