We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer for an AI startup that is currently developing the world’s first fully autonomous AI teammate capable of independently resolving software bugs from start to finish, allowing engineering teams to focus on new features and innovation. This system functions as a self-directed virtual team member, which is built on a novel multi-agent operating system. It runs in the background and manages the complete bug-fixing lifecycle with full transparency.

Requirements

checked icon At least 8+ years of software development experience.
checked icon At least 4 years of experience with Python.
checked icon At least 1 year of professional experience building generative AI technologies and agentic systems utilizing LLMs and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
checked icon Proven expertise in backend development and experience shipping and maintaining production systems.
checked icon A self-starter with the ability to work independently and navigate the challenges of a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

checked icon A strong background in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes.
checked icon Experience with other programming languages such as Java, C++, or TypeScript.
checked icon A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. A Master's degree or PhD is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

checked icon Stabilization of the existing system:
checked icon Auditing current workflows, backend services, and Python modules.
checked icon Identifying bottlenecks and failure points in the pipeline.
checked icon Improving system reliability, error handling, logging, and observability.
checked icon Refactor fragile code and redesign components that can’t scale.
checked icon Harden integrations with LLMs.
checked icon Ensuring the entire bug-fixing loop works consistently end-to-end.
