You’ll play a key role in developing scalable backend systems, optimizing performance, and enabling businesses to make smarter, data-driven decisions powered by blockchain technology. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive engineer who thrives in a remote, start-up environment, enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, and takes ownership of their work from concept to deployment.

Requirements

checked icon 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer (preferably with Node.js)
checked icon Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
checked icon Proven experience designing and building REST APIs
checked icon Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
checked icon Hands-on experience with scalable, high-performance backend architecture
checked icon Experience working in a product-driven, agile environment
checked icon Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English

Nice to have

checked icon Experience with NestJS framework
checked icon Familiarity with React or frontend collaboration
checked icon Understanding of blockchain concepts and data models
checked icon Experience working with data analytics or AI-driven systems

Responsibilities

checked icon Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs for large-scale data processing
checked icon Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
checked icon Participate in the full development lifecycle — from architecture to deployment
checked icon Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams
checked icon Improve existing data processing pipelines to enhance speed and efficiency
checked icon Research and integrate AI tools to automate and improve client workflows
checked icon Ensure code quality through peer reviews and best engineering practices
checked icon Monitor system performance and implement improvements proactively
