Required skills and experience

• Proven expertise in SQL development, database design, and query optimization across database platforms like MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts, normalization principles, and data modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in performance optimization, including indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Hands-on experience with data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with database security practices, including access controls and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve database performance issues.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL development or a related field, demonstrating the ability to deliver robust and scalable database solutions.

Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)

• Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working with cloud database platforms such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database.
