  10. Work closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, and other departments to ensure alignment on messaging and campaigns.

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.) and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong written communication skills, with an ability to adapt tone and style based on the platform and audience.
  • Ability to craft compelling captions, posts, and blog content.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to measure campaign performance.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role.

Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)

  • Certification in social media marketing or content marketing (e.g., Hootsuite Social Marketing Certification, Google Analytics Certification).
  • Familiarity with Facebook Ads, Instagram Promotions, or other paid social advertising platforms.
  • Experience with video creation and editing for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram Reels.
  • Basic graphic design skills to assist in creating social media visuals (e.g., knowledge of design principles and tools).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) to streamline workflow and collaboration.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media and content marketing strategies.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role.
