• Migrated whole customer’s data center and site-to-site connections to AWS cloud (CloudWatch, Direct Connect, EC2, ECR, ECS, EFS, ElastiCache, Elasticsearch, IAM, KMS, Lambda, RDS, Route 53, S3, SNS, SQS, SSM, VPC).
• Migrated code deployment process from Git pulls using Jenkins to fully automated DEBs building and deployment using Jenkins and eventually to Docker with Gitlab CI/CD.
• Designed and implemented logging and monitoring systems. Monitoring evolved from Zabbix to Datadog that currently is migrated to Prometheus, logging from Papertrail to ELK stack with Fluent(bit|d).
• Server management/provisioning evolved from complete manual over fully Ansibled on EC2 to Dockers on ECS provisioned using Terraform.
Currently in process of implementing Kubernetes + KOPS + Terraform on AWS.
• Managed IPsec site-to-site connections and routing between customer’s AWS cloud and other companies (data exchange) mostly using PFsense and AWS DC. Also managed developers dial-in access using IPsec and OpenVPN.
• Migrated whole customer’s server infrastructure from DigitalOcean to AWS cloud (AWS Backup, CloudWatch, EC2, EFS, ElastiCache, Elasticsearch, IAM, RDS, Route 53, S3, SSM, VPC).
