I am a seasoned Senior Data & Research Scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, algorithm development, and interdisciplinary project management. At Ventus Engineering GmbH, I designed, implemented, and deployed real-time wind turbine condition monitoring algorithms, leading data-driven projects for sensor technology development and coordinating activities across data science and R&D departments. My role involved presenting insights to international stakeholders, advising on strategic programming, and ensuring effective resource planning. My tenure at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) included developing image processing algorithms for aerodynamic research, managing data processing from high-speed multi-camera systems, and overseeing numerous national and European research projects. I also established and coordinated international scientific collaborations, contributed to scientific literature, and supervised PhD students. Previously, as a Research Scientist at Delft University of Technology, I introduced non-intrusive velocimetry techniques, coordinated new experimental facilities, and supervised MSc and PhD students. In the Aerodynamics group, I led a team in experimental investigations of turbulent flows, developed novel image processing algorithms, and contributed to European project planning and grant proposals. I also optimized CFD codes in collaboration with CINECA supercomputing center. My technical skills include proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, SQL, Matlab, Fortran, Julia), data science libraries, machine learning, data visualization, and fluid dynamics. My educational background includes a PhD from Delft University of Technology and a Master’s degree from Politecnico di Torino. I am fluent in English, German, and Italian.Tech Stack
