We are hiring an AWS Senior Platform Engineer for a leading cloud and platform engineering consultancy delivering modern cloud platforms across public and private sector organizations.
This role is ideal for an experienced platform engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building secure and scalable AWS environments, and helping engineering teams adopt modern cloud-native and DevOps practices. You will work closely with platform engineers, architects, and delivery teams to design, build, and operate cloud platforms that improve reliability, security, and developer experience.
The role combines hands-on engineering with platform design, automation, and operational excellence, supporting both application and platform workloads in production environments.

Requirements

checked icon 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
checked icon Strong hands-on experience building and operating AWS platforms in production environments
checked icon Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
checked icon Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts including VPCs, routing, load balancing, connectivity, and security controls
checked icon Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation workflows
checked icon Experience working with containerized workloads and Kubernetes, ideally Amazon EKS
checked icon Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern platform engineering principles
checked icon Experience implementing monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions
checked icon Knowledge of AWS IAM, security best practices, governance, and compliance controls
checked icon Experience collaborating with engineers, architects, and delivery teams in cross-functional environments
checked icon Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
checked icon Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

checked icon Support and optimize Kubernetes workloads running on Amazon EKS
checked icon Collaborate with development teams to enable cloud-native application delivery and platform adoption
checked icon Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions across platform environments
checked icon Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency through automation and best practices
checked icon Create reusable deployment patterns, templates, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams
checked icon Support onboarding of new applications and workloads onto shared cloud platforms
checked icon Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
checked icon Contribute to platform architecture discussions and technical decision-making
checked icon Mentor engineers through code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing
