We are looking for a Software Developer for an exciting and fast-growing sports entertainment company that’s disrupting the traditional pathway from karting to Formula 1. This community-driven brand is taking the UK & US by storm with its electric karting series, breaking down barriers to entry by removing 95% of traditional costs and redefining racing culture for a new generation. You’ll be part of the team turning this transformative idea into a worldwide movement.
Requirements

3+ years of professional development experience, or a standout graduate with strong skills

Solid command of SQL and practical experience with BigQuery (or comparable cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift)

Familiarity with data integration platforms (Airbyte, Fivetran, Stitch) or proven ability to build custom API connections

Demonstrated experience developing or actively contributing to ETL/ELT pipelines using Python

Comfortable working with REST APIs and pulling data from various external sources

Meticulous attention to detail and a knack for solving complex problems

Genuine interest in infrastructure, platform engineering, and backend systems

Strong command of English with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Nice to have

Frontend development experience (React, Plotly Dash, or similar)

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Scheduler) or AWS equivalents
Responsibilities

Develop clean, production-ready backend code for internal systems that unify finance and operational data

Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL, pulling data from REST APIs, flat files, and databases

Create SQL transformations in BigQuery using dbt, Dataform, Python, or similar tools

Implement two-way API integrations—both ingesting data into the warehouse and sending structured data back to source systems

Design reusable modules for validating and transforming financial and operational data

Build dashboards and lightweight internal tools with React, Plotly Dash, or equivalent frameworks

Ensure data reliability through validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms

Own and maintain the data platform connecting ticketing, payments, and accounting systems across multiple entities and countries

Set up monitoring and automated alerts to catch pipeline failures, data mismatches, and anomalies

Deploy and manage cloud resources, access controls, and orchestration on Google Cloud or AWS

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into working, testable solutions

Maintain clean documentation and version control with Git, following best practices as the company scales
