We are looking for a Software Engineer (Rust) to join a fast-growing international crypto company. You will design and build core services, including APIs, data models, and integrations, while making key architectural and technical decisions that will shape the product.

Requirements

checked icon 5+ years of professional software development experience
checked icon Hands-on experience building and operating production systems in Rust
checked icon Daily practical use of AI coding tools, with the judgment to verify and override their output
checked icon Experience designing REST APIs at scale, including contracts and versioning strategy
checked icon Production experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
checked icon Experience building and hardening container deployments and CI/CD pipelines
checked icon Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
checked icon A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
checked icon Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal

Nice to have

checked icon A background in fintech or payment systems, such as SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, or card issuing
checked icon Experience in regulated environments, such as PSD2, KYC/AML, or PCI DSS
checked icon Exposure to crypto custody, on-chain settlement, or stablecoin flows
checked icon Solid blockchain fundamentals, such as ERC20, RPC nodes, and UTXO vs account models
checked icon Experience with monitoring and analytics tooling such as Sentry or New Relic

Responsibilities

checked icon Design and build core backend services: APIs, data models, and integrations
checked icon Make architectural decisions on a codebase being built from scratch
checked icon Take ownership of major product areas from design through production
checked icon Take part in on-call and incident response for the systems you own
checked icon Work with AI coding tools daily, and build the tests and checks that keep their output reliable
checked icon Work directly with product and design to shape requirements
checked icon Review code and mentor engineers, raising the bar on testing, instrumentation, and code quality
