We’re looking for a Lead Azure Data Engineer for a specialist supply chain, data and software engineering solutions company with over 380 employees, development centers in the USA and India within 3 years of starting operations.

Requirements

checked icon Experience as a Lead Data Engineer
checked icon 5+ years of Hands-on experience with data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques
checked icon 5+ years of experience in SQL database and TSQL
checked icon 3+ years of experience using Python and PySpark
checked icon 3+ years of experience on ETL frameworks – Informatica or SSIS
checked icon Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SSIS, SAS, etc.)
checked icon Experience dealing with structured & unstructured data
checked icon Strong command of English and good communication skills

Nice to have

checked icon EDW experience – Azure Databricks, RedShift, Azure Synapse, etc.
checked icon Professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities

checked icon Lead a team of data engineers
checked icon Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
checked icon Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
checked icon Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
checked icon Work with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and other IT teams to understand the business needs and their requirements.
checked icon Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and managing distributed applications and systems on Azure Cloud platform.
checked icon Responsible for ETL development, data analysis, technical design, and testing.
checked icon Able to shift between priorities as needed throughout the workday.
