We are seeking an experienced Windows OS Internals R&D Team Lead to join a cybersecurity company
developing next-generation runtime security technology. The successful candidate will lead a team of
highly skilled engineers focused on Windows OS internals, low-level system development, advanced C++
programming, and software architecture, while remaining hands-on in technical decision-making and
execution.

Requirements

checked icon 10+ years of hands-on experience in C++ software development.
checked icon Strong expertise in Windows OS internals and low-level system programming.
checked icon 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, gained within the last two positions.
checked icon Proven experience mentoring, managing, and developing R&D engineers.
checked icon Deep understanding of Windows architecture, memory management, processes, threads, services, drivers, and debugging methodologies.
checked icon Experience with low-level debugging tools and performance optimization.
checked icon Strong software architecture and system design skills.
checked icon Ability to combine technical leadership with hands-on engineering contributions.
checked icon Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
checked icon Strong ownership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
checked icon Experience with kernel-mode development or Windows driver development is a strong advantage.
checked icon Experience in cybersecurity, endpoint security, EDR, anti-malware, or system protection products is a strong advantage.
checked icon Experience with reverse engineering, malware analysis, or vulnerability research is an advantage.
checked icon Experience working on large-scale, performance-sensitive, or mission-critical software products is an advantage.
checked icon Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software development practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

checked icon Lead and manage an R&D team responsible for Windows OS internals and low-level system development.
checked icon Drive technical architecture, solution design, implementation quality, and successful delivery of complex Windows-based components.
checked icon Provide hands-on technical leadership in C++, Windows internals, debugging, performance optimization, and system-level development.
checked icon Mentor engineers, support career development, and foster engineering excellence across the team.
checked icon Collaborate closely with Product, Research, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
checked icon Review software architecture, technical designs, and code to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
checked icon Plan, prioritize, and oversee engineering execution to ensure timely delivery of roadmap commitments.
checked icon Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges across development and production environments.
checked icon Promote engineering best practices, software reliability, testing standards, and secure development methodologies.
checked icon Support continuous improvement of development processes, technical standards, and team performance.
