Lead UX Designer

Salary: $8,000-$15,000 per month

Hybrid: 4 days on-site/1 day remote (Office located in Warsaw)

Full-time position, long-term

Contract type: B2B
We are hiring a Lead UX Designer for an enterprise AI company building a platform that lets AI agents work reliably inside complex business environments. This is a senior individual-contributor leadership role focused on AI experiences: you set the design bar for the whole product and mentor other designers. You report to product leadership and partner closely with engineering.
Requirements

7+ years in a product design role, with a portfolio that proves your craft on the difficult screens too: empty states, loading, errors, and edge cases, not just the clean happy path

Can explain what makes a design work across layout, type, interaction, density, and motion

Product instinct that catches broken flows, lazy defaults, and clutter, and that ties every design choice back to what users and the business actually need

A background in dense, data-rich, or enterprise tools, not only consumer apps or marketing pages

Proven ability to make hard, technical products feel easy, through onboarding, gradual reveal of complexity, and hooks that get people to their first win fast

A structural mindset, having created or grown a real design system and thinking in terms of consistency and information architecture at scale

Evidence-led practice, where your calls come from watching real user behavior, and you can name designs you changed after seeing the data

A team-first, delivery-focused way of working, tight with engineers and PMs, and honest in critique

A design process already wired around AI tools day-to-day

Plain, clear communication, spoken and written
Nice to have

Prior work on AI or agentic products, whether copilots, chat and its successors, retrieval with cited sources, knowledge graphs, or similar systems

The ability to build working prototypes yourself, in code or with current prototyping and AI tools

A history of steering design direction and coaching peers, even with no direct reports

A knowledge of enterprise and B2B SaaS constraints: access controls, audit trails, scale, and the workflows of operational users
Responsibilities

Own the design craft bar for the core product, covering visual quality, interaction quality, and consistency across the product

Design trustworthy interfaces for complex AI and agentic systems, including streaming responses, uncertainty, confidence and sources, agent actions, error and recovery, and human-in-the-loop control

Turn ambiguous product problems into clear flows, prototypes, and shipped experiences

Make complex, technical capability accessible to non-technical business users, and design onboarding that gets them to value quickly

Apply engagement and light gamification deliberately to keep the product approachable and rewarding to use

Build and extend the design system so the product stays coherent and the team ships faster

Ground design decisions in real user understanding through research, usability testing, and direct customer contact

Partner closely with product and engineering from problem framing through production, so what ships matches the intent

Mentor other designers and raise the craft bar across the team through critique and example

Drive an AI-native design workflow, using AI across exploration, prototyping, content, and research synthesis while keeping a high verification bar
