Senior Golang Engineer (100% remote)
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Go) at a specialist cloud and platform consultancy that builds and runs its own developer platform in production for regulated and public-sector clients. You’ll build the Go services, Kubernetes controllers, and APIs behind production cloud platforms.

Salary: 5,500-6,700 EUR/Month

️ B2B
Requirements

Deep, well-rounded Go skills: clean idiomatic code, fluent use of the standard library, concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels, context), module management, and a testing habit.

A track record of taking Go services from design through to running them in production.

Comfort with Kubernetes and cloud fundamentals, and specifically with building on top of Kubernetes rather than only shipping workloads to it, meaning real work on controllers, operators, and CRDs using controller-runtime and client-go.

Familiarity with connecting workloads to cloud services through workload identity, such as IRSA or EKS Pod Identity, so static long-lived credentials can be left behind.

API design across both gRPC and REST, applied to distributed or microservice architectures.

Practical working knowledge of AWS and how cloud-native systems fit together.

Comfort operating within CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-style delivery.

Hands-on with containers via Docker and with infrastructure defined as code through Terraform and Helm.

A working grasp of observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) alongside sound testing practices.

Exposure to behaviour-driven testing in Go, whether through godog or a comparable framework.

Experience guiding other engineers and comfort with client-facing or consultancy-style work.
Responsibilities

Take Go services and platform components from design through to production and operation.

Extend Kubernetes itself by writing custom controllers, operators, and CRDs with controller-runtime and client-go.

Shape and ship gRPC and REST APIs, plus the integrations tying distributed systems together.

Wire workloads into cloud services securely through workload identity (IRSA / EKS Pod Identity), keeping long-lived credentials out of the picture.

Connect with the core cloud building blocks: IAM, networking, storage, and databases.

Carry quality from start to finish across automated tests, code review, observability, and a security-first default posture.

Coach fellow engineers and help shape the engineering standards the team works to.
