B2B We are seeking experienced data professionals to join a large-scale enterprise technology environment focused on cloud-based data platforms, analytics, governance, and data-driven decision making.
In these roles, you will contribute to the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise data solutions built on Azure and Databricks technologies. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, platform engineers, architects, and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong Azure Databricks expertise, knowledge of modern cloud data platforms, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Data Platforms, or related fields
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
Experience working with data governance, security, and access control frameworks
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and related technologies
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets
Experience with Python and data processing solutions
Understanding of cloud architecture, platform operations, and data platform best practices
Experience working within Agile software development environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Nice to have
Experience with Unity Catalog administration and governance
Knowledge of Databricks monitoring, alerting, and operational best practices
Experience with cluster management, performance optimization, and cost management
Familiarity with Databricks Genie Spaces and emerging platform capabilities
Experience with Azure networking concepts, including VNets, subnets, private endpoints, and cloud security
Previous experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers
Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Support the administration, configuration, and governance of Azure Databricks environments
Manage user access, permissions, groups, and role-based access controls
Contribute to workspace organization, governance frameworks, and security best practices
Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, workflows, and platform integrations
Configure, maintain, and optimize Databricks jobs, all-purpose clusters, and high-concurrency clusters
Monitor platform performance, utilization, and operational efficiency while supporting cost optimization initiatives
Implement and maintain Unity Catalog structures, including catalogs, schemas, tables, and governance policies
Support data lineage, compliance, data quality, and security requirements
Configure monitoring solutions, dashboards, reports, and automated alerting mechanisms
Investigate and troubleshoot platform, pipeline, and job failures using logs and monitoring tools
Support the administration and governance of Databricks Genie Spaces and related platform capabilities
Work with Azure services including Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Azure SQL Database, Web Apps, Function Apps, Event Hubs, and Azure Data Factory
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory pipelines and Self-Hosted Integration Runtimes
Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on cloud platform improvements and modernization initiatives
Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, governance standards, and knowledge-sharing activities
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement across delivery teams
Stay up to date with Azure, Databricks, and modern data platform technologies, recommending improvements where appropriate Please include GDPR consent
