We’re hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer for a major multinational enterprise running a worldwide internal cloud platform. The platform is built on top of the main public cloud providers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and serves the whole organization as a core piece of its technology setup.

Requirements

checked icon 6+ years of hands-on work with Google Cloud Platform (exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus)
checked icon Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related area, or matching practical engineering experience
checked icon Solid background in IT architecture and design, with focus on infrastructure automation, provisioning, and upkeep
checked icon Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and strong Python skills
checked icon Comfortable with Linux command line and shell scripting
checked icon Experience building IT systems in regulated environments
checked icon Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Repos, and GitHub Actions
checked icon Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including under time pressure
checked icon Advanced spoken and written English

checked icon Background in API management or API design
checked icon Past work in distributed, multicultural teams

Responsibilities

checked icon Help plan, run, and grow the GCP cloud platform used across the company globally
checked icon Guide and mentor a group of engineers as they roll out cloud solutions
checked icon Partner with Squad Leads and other stakeholders to map technical work to business needs
checked icon Make sure designs are scalable, stable, easy to maintain, and secure, in line with best practices and company strategy
checked icon Write, update, and review documentation covering processes, standards, and team practices
checked icon Keep open communication going across teams in different countries and time zones
