Atlanta, USA (Remote)
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Documentation Writer to support the growing product and implementation teams at a leading SaaS platform for Supply Chain Planning & Automation. In this role, you’ll create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that enables successful deployments and enhances the end-user experience.
Requirements

3–5 years of experience in technical or functional documentation

Proven experience writing for software platforms, APIs, or enterprise SaaS products

Familiarity with supply chain platforms such as OMP, JDA, Manhattan, or Deposco is a plus

Strong command of tools like Confluence, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Basic knowledge of SQL, JSON, and cloud environments is preferred

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote teams

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
Nice to have

Certifications such as CPTC, Information Mapping, or API Documentation Certification

Experience documenting integrations with platforms like Salesforce, Propel, or Zilliant

Familiarity with Agile development processes

Understanding of documentation standards in regulated or enterprise environments
Responsibilities

Create and maintain documentation: solution design docs, user guides, API references, training materials

Work with developers, product managers, and architects to capture technical details and functional requirements

Translate technical concepts into accessible content for internal teams and non-technical users

Maintain consistency, structure, and version control across all documents

Support knowledge management and documentation repository standards

Continuously improve documentation based on product updates and user feedback

Stay current with best practices in technical communication and documentation tools
