We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join our client’s talented engineering team. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in Java development, particularly in cloud environments and modern frameworks. You will be pivotal in building robust, scalable solutions that meet our product and business requirements.

Requirements

checked icon At least 7+ Years of experience
checked icon Advanced expertise in Java 17 or newer versions
checked icon Solid hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate/JPA for backend development.
checked icon Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
checked icon Practical experience with Docker
checked icon Experience with Jenkins and GitLab for streamlined development and deployment processes
checked icon Strong experience building and maintaining services in a cloud-first environment (preferably AWS)
checked icon Proficient in automated testing using JUnit and Mockito
checked icon Strong background in microservices architecture, system design, and scalability
checked icon Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
checked icon Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

Nice to have

checked icon Experience with Kubernetes, NoSQL databases, and PostgreSQL
checked icon Knowledge of performance testing, DevOps tools, and monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog)
checked icon Familiarity with event-driven systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ

Responsibilities

checked icon Architect, design, and develop high-performance Java applications using Java 17+
checked icon Build microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA
checked icon Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure on AWS
checked icon Use Docker to containerize applications and integrate with CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments using tools like Jenkins and GitLab
checked icon Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability using tools such as JUnit and Mockito
checked icon Design and implement optimized SQL queries for relational databases, ensuring efficient data processing
checked icon Contribute to system design discussions, specifically around scalability, integration, and microservices architecture
