We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer for one of our US-based clients, a dynamic start-up dedicated to developing cutting-edge solutions for high-profile clients, including Fortune 100 companies. Seeking team members who are excited to contribute to meaningful projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

checked icon Strong proficiency in core Java programming with 5-8 years of experience
checked icon Experience with complex data processing and handling large datasets.
checked icon Solid understanding of database design, data modeling, and schema creation.
checked icon Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
checked icon Experience writing effective prompts for GPT or other popular AIs
checked icon Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
checked icon Ability to present ideas clearly and engage in constructive discussions.
checked icon Understanding of Scrum methodology; experience as a Scrum Master is a plus
checked icon Ability to break down tasks and contribute to project organization.

Responsibilities

checked icon Develop backend solutions using core Java to handle data processing tasks at an application scale.
checked icon Work with databases to extract, process, and prepare diverse datasets for web services.
checked icon Design and implement data schemas and objects to store and track historical data changes over time.
checked icon Understand domain-specific requirements to contribute to solution modeling and architecture.
checked icon Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, ensuring robust test coverage.
checked icon Promote a culture of test-driven development within the team.
checked icon Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborative design meetings.
checked icon Communicate effectively in English, conveying ideas clearly and constructively.
checked icon Share status updates proactively and engage in ad-hoc communications as needed.
checked icon Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and contribute to product development.
