We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure and DevOps engineer for one of our UK-based clients, the world’s No.1 provider of real-time aggregated sporting odds with intelligent, integrity-led insights.

Requirements

5+ years of infrastructure engineer experience

Experience with Linux skills (RHEL)

Experience with Puppet

Experience with Kubernetes

Experience working with AWS and hosted server providers

Experience working with physical services
Nice to have

Certifications for AWS

Experience with Ansible

Experience with Terraform
Responsibilities

Operational support for the company’s servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure

Responding to faults and incidents with the potential to impact product uptime and availability

Management of high-priority security vulnerabilities and implementation of mitigations where appropriate

Provision of compute/network/cloud capability to support new projects and products

Attending project calls and meetings to understand requirements and work with stakeholders

Support project delivery processes in the role of Infrastructure design authority and/or architect

Provide financial forecasts and options for infrastructure capabilities to support project/product requirements

Delivering infrastructure components in line with forecast and to specification

Maintenance of existing legacy “DevOps” capabilities including server

configuration management, software build and test infrastructure capabilities, and artifact deployment.

Lead on the transition to ‘containerization’ and ‘GitOps’ of applications and deployment workflows
