We’re looking for an experienced backend specialist to take charge of and enhance the foundational systems. This role is deeply technical and involves active development, system design, and upkeep of essential backend components.

Our client is redefining how family offices manage wealth by offering a unified platform that enables tracking, oversight, and customization across all custodians, asset types, and structures.
Requirements

3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience developing backend systems in live production settings

Deep understanding of JS/TS, with solid background using Node.js and relational databases like PostgreSQL

Skilled in creating API endpoints and structuring systems for performance and scalability

Familiarity with PostgREST is a bonus

Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities

Capable of taking initiative and delivering results autonomously in a remote-first team environment
Responsibilities

Design, build, and fine-tune server-side components utilizing tools like Node.js (Express), PostgREST, and PostgreSQL

Help shape the structure of APIs and the broader backend architecture

Support code quality by offering guidance to less experienced team members and conducting thorough code checks

Keep work progress visible by updating task statuses and flagging any roadblocks early

Produce well-structured, easy-to-understand code, complete with clear documentation
