We’re looking for a Principal CI-CD Platform Engineer for an international fintech startup on a mission to protect and grow its clients’ life savings. The company was founded to address two of the biggest issues with Bitcoin adoption: accessibility and security. In a matter of years, they developed an industry-leading platform that introduced cryptocurrency into the daily lives of millions worldwide.
6+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer
Experience building and shaping a developer’s environment as code and using pipelines
Solid expertise in GitHub and GitHub Actions is mandatory
Ideally be comfortable in a variety of scripting and coding languages
Deep knowledge and experience in designing, deploying, and administering complex Amazon AWS cloud environments
Experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues around how to build sustainable services
Strong understanding of Docker
Nice to have
AWS certified and have a good understanding of the Amazon Well-Architected Framework
Identifying and reducing toil through the implementation of sustainable automated mechanisms
Building high quality observability into everything we do by building self serve alerts, dashboards, metrics and events
Delivering self-serve capabilities to our developers that allow them to provision, manage and operate their own infrastructure
Providing coaching and mentoring to colleagues around how to build sustainable services
Keeping security and compliance at the forefront of all you do
