We are looking for a skilled Node.js Back-End Developer to join one of our clients with a global footprint. In this role, you will design and build efficient server-side systems that support key features of the platform. Your tasks will include optimizing code, resolving complex technical difficulties, and maintaining the reliability and security of the back-end infrastructure. You will also contribute to the overall system architecture, helping to improve the user experience for both developers and clients.

Requirements

checked icon Min. 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and back-end development
checked icon Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs
checked icon Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
checked icon An in-depth understanding of database management, including optimization techniques
checked icon Experience with version control tools, such as Git.
checked icon Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and the ability to write an effective test
checked icon Knowledge of security practices for ensuring backend systems are secure and reliable

Nice to have

checked icon Proficiency with Express, and testing frameworks like Jest.
checked icon Experience with OpenAPI and API documentation.
checked icon Familiarity with DevOps practices, including containerization, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
checked icon Exposure to ReactJS/Redux, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and Agile development environments.
checked icon Experience with GraphQL APIs and contributing to system architecture

Responsibilities

checked icon Develop and maintain the server-side logic using the MERN stack
checked icon Design and optimize RESTful APIs to support smooth integration with client-side applications
checked icon Work with DevOps and cloud services (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy, monitor, and manage back-end system
checked icon Troubleshoot and resolve issues across various environments from development to production
checked icon Integrate third-party APIs to add features and extend platform functionality
checked icon Develop unit and functional tests to secure the reliability of the system
