Direct employment by the client We’re looking for a Full-stack Developer for a Scandinavian EdTech company that aims to focus on developing advanced, interactive tools for corporate learning. Their approach is flexible to suit the needs of each and every client. They offer various types of learning: time-based learning, goal-based learning, as well as learning through live events or even cross-company learning initiatives. The company was created and based on the philosophy that knowledge sharing and collegiality are key to driving performance.
Requirements
3+ years of commercial experience in a similar position
Excellent coding abilities in TypeScript with strong JavaScript fundamentals;
Vast experience in backend development with Node.js and Nest.js;
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational databases;
Experience in building client-facing interfaces with React (ReactFiber);
Ability to write effective unit and integration tests
Solid understanding of the patterns and principles behind excellent software design and OOP;
Understanding continuous deployment and its importance in software development;
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (preferable C1 or C2). Nice to have
Experience with GraphQL;
Experience with IaC (e.g. AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform);
Knowledge of Docker;
Experience in other programming languages (e.g. Golang). Responsibilities
Creating and updating features with a “you build it, you run it” attitude with responsibility across both backend and UI;
Improving existing code and deploy changes with confidence;
Choosing the right tools to get the job done effectively;
