We’re looking for a Lead Data Scientist for a B2B technology company making financial services affordable and accessible to people around the world, regardless of income.

Requirements

checked icon Leadership experience
checked icon 4+ years performing quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, loss forecasting, loan loss reserve modeling, and/or particularly econometric modeling of consumer credit risk stress losses
checked icon Experience with dynamics of consumer products
checked icon Active role in performing some analytical components of an econometric modeling-driven stress loss process
checked icon Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
checked icon Strong command of English and good communication skills
checked icon Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field

Nice to have

checked icon Experience with alternative credit scoring methodology

Responsibilities

checked icon Develop credit risk models for underwriting consumers with and without credit scores using our psychometric data
checked icon Obtain and conduct QA/QC on all data required for our credit model development
checked icon Develop segment and/or account level credit models
checked icon Perform all required tests (e.g. sensitivity and back-testing)
checked icon Validate/recalibrate all models periodically to incorporate latest data
checked icon Produce comprehensive model documentation
checked icon Work closely with cross-functional teams to address business problems, including our psychometrics team and ad-hoc requests to support our Customer Success team
checked icon Collaborate with our engineering team to guide reliable deployments of data science products on our Credit Scoring Platform
