We are looking for a skilled Lead Backend Engineer to help design scalable backend systems, guide a talented engineering team, and drive agile development. This role blends hands-on coding with leadership and architectural responsibilities.

Requirements

checked icon Minimum of 5 years in backend development, primarily using Python
checked icon Solid grasp of microservices architecture, cloud-based infrastructures, and distributed systems
checked icon Experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
checked icon Advanced knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, Amazon MQ)
checked icon Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message brokers like RabbitMQ
checked icon Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
checked icon Prior experience mentoring developers and coordinating agile workflows
checked icon Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and system-level architecture
checked icon Experience integrating IoT devices or working with video processing systems is an advantage
checked icon Basic familiarity with Vue.js or frontend concepts

Responsibilities

checked icon Lead development and maintenance of backend services built with Python (Django or FastAPI), optimized for scalability and performance
checked icon Design reliable APIs and optimize system communication for real-time data flows
checked icon Guide cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes and AWS-based infrastructure
checked icon Oversee continuous integration and delivery workflows, ensuring smooth and frequent releases
checked icon Collaborate cross-functionally to refine architectural decisions and improve infrastructure reliability
checked icon Act as a team mentor and scrum facilitator—running sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and stand-ups to drive agility and efficiency
checked icon Identify roadblocks early, propose technical solutions, and maintain development momentum
checked icon Translate business needs into engineering goals and ensure project alignment through clear communication
