We are seeking a Hands-On Java Team Lead to guide our team in developing a cutting-edge data collection platform that helps mobile marketing managers optimize their business performance. You’ll lead a talented team of developers and work closely with product managers and engineers to deliver value to customers in the rapidly growing mobile marketing space.

Requirements

checked icon 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with a passion for excellence
checked icon 3+ years of experience leading a team of at least 3 developers
checked icon Solid knowledge of Kafka, SQS, K8s, Postgres, and event-driven systems
checked icon Experience with large-scale SaaS production services and databases
checked icon Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Go, Clojure, etc.)
checked icon Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL, Athena, and BigQuery
checked icon A team player with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work collaboratively
checked icon Ability to quickly grasp new languages, systems, and frameworks
checked icon Strong drive to deliver results as part of a team

Nice to have

checked icon Solid knowledge of Clojure
checked icon Experience in functional programming
checked icon B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent

Responsibilities

checked icon Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 Frontend and Backend developers
checked icon Develop and enhance our data collection platform to support marketing data aggregation at scale
checked icon Solve complex technical problems related to scalability, performance, and system stability
checked icon Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to deliver customer value
checked icon Optimize engineering processes and tools to enhance team productivity
checked icon Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, and stability of our products and systems
checked icon Stay up to date with new technologies to ensure continuous improvement and innovation
checked icon Participate in our on-call rotation and monitor the system to ensure reliable performance
