We are coming with a job offer to a company that is developing software for technological giants like IBM, Bosch, Comcast and even Microsoft. We’re looking for an Application Security Engineer for a company focused on code security. Providing applications that verify code, look for possible vulnerabilities that can be exploited and suggests ad hoc solutions.
3+ years of experience in application security or security research, including the understanding of application security attacks, vulnerabilities and mitigations
Understanding of Java
Ability to read multiple programming languages' source code and identify vulnerable parts
Knowledge of common Web Application security vulnerabilities (OWASP TOP10, SANS 25, etc.)
Experience with static code analysis
Fluency in English (B2 minimum)
Nice to have
Understanding of a programming language other than Java.
BSc or BA in Computer Science or a similar degree.
Knowledge of PERL scripting languages or the desire to acquire this experience.
Regular Expressions knowledge, or the desire to acquire experience with RegEx.
Performing security source code analysis
Analyzing application vulnerabilities and providing mitigation strategies
Researching and designing scanning rules while working closely with the development team
Cooperating with vendors in the community to uncover and fix flaws in software projects
Developing and improving Mend programs for various programming languages
